The Elysium Compact
Providing Educational Services Worldwide

An interviewer once asked Margaret Mead, what the first sign she looks for when learning about an ancient civilization. Her response surprised the interviewer by answering that she looks for a healed femur.
She explains, “When someone breaks a femur, they can’t survive to hunt, fish or escape enemies unless they have help from someone else. Thus, a healed femur indicates that someone else helped that person, rather than abandoning them and saving themselves. Isn’t that what we in philanthropy are all about? Healing femurs of one sort or another?”
We believe that education is a basic building block to providing a person with a better life. We have both National programs and Worldwide, all with the same mission in mind. To educate.
To learn more about our programs, please visit our Programs page. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities, some for in person and some for virtual assistance.
Never doubt that a small group of committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Volunteer Benefits
As a volunteer, you experience a variety of personal benefits to working with children, students, parents, or helping us in other capacities. You will feel the benefits of volunteerism almost immediately. You’ll learn new skills. You’ll meet new people. And you’ll contribute to the community. But most of all, you can receive valuable experience and rewards to aid you in obtaining your own education.
We partnered with Drexel University to offer tuition reduction for all our volunteers. The discount is as much as 25% in some programs. To learn more about Drexel University and degree programs, please visit www.Drexel.com or email us at info@ElysiumCompact.org.
All our volunteers are encouraged to record their hours for the Presidential Volunteerism Award. This is a prestigious award that provides a volunteer with recognition for all their hard work.
We look for people in all skill sets and interests: parents, retirees, college students, caring community members, and more. Fill out an application or inquire through contact us.
Thank you for your interest in our organization and hope to hear from you soon!
